Student Endeavour

The P&C Association will allocate funds each year when possible to support student endeavours for activities associated with the school.

The P&C is to budget an allowance per student, although applications from individuals or groups of students will be considered and might warrant higher allocations than those detailed below.

The P&C should provide equitable support for a wide range of student endeavours, throughout the course of the year. This will provide incentive for students and assist families with some financial assistance.

The following Guidelines are to assist the members of the P&C in their deliberations and decision-making.

• Students representing Ayr State High School (either individually or as part of a team, group or ensemble) at State or National competitions or equivalent, are eligible for financial assistance.

• Individual students are eligible to receive a maximum of $100 or 1/3 of compulsory costs, whichever is lower, per application.
• Any school team, group or ensemble of five or more students is to receive a maximum of $500 or 1/3 of compulsory costs, whichever is lower, per application.
• A student or group of students may apply for funding in any other level/activity in any one year.  A decision on such additional funding will be taken with due regard to existing funds.

Applications for funding should be made in writing to the P&C using this form.

It is essential that the supporting documentation verify the Application and that Section B be completed by the Principal or Deputy Principal prior to submission to the P&C.
